چکیده
Purpose: The purpose of our study is to compare the average peripapillary retinal nerve fibre layer thickness by cirrus HD-Optical coherence tomography in emmetropic, axial myopic and hyperopic cases. Materials And Methods: Total 120 subjects aged between 10 50 years were enrolled this study, divided into 3 groups with 40 each, namely group 1 - emmetropia, 2- myopia >2.5 D 3-hypermetropia>2.5 D. In which, 58 (48.3%) females 62 (51.7%) males. This was done Department Ophthalmology, Santhiram Medical College Hospital Nandyal, from October 2019 March 2020. as well quadratic assessment RNFL cirrus-HD optical comparison among these groups. Observation Results: found be statistically significant. thickest (102.95 ± 5.629, n=40), followed emmetropic (102.55 5.505, then (83.38 3.726, n=40) (all P<0.0001) . all four quadrants, showed thinning when compared Emmetropic (p<0.001).But thicker than only temporal quadrants right eye(p<0.001)and nasal superior left eye (p=0.017) Conclusion: shows highly significant results hyperopia. When being thinnest group, slightly group.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thickness in myopic, emmetropic, and hyperopic children using optical coherence tomography. Two-hundred one right eyes of subjects aged 4 to 18 years were divided into 3 groups based on their postcycloplegic spherical equivalent: myopes (<-1.0 D), emmetropes (≥-1.0 to ≤+1.0 D), and hyperopes (>+1.0 D...

AIM To assess the reproducibility of Cirrus high-definition optical coherence tomography (HD-OCT; Carl Zeiss Meditec, Dublin, CA, USA) for analysis of peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thickness in glaucomatous eyes. METHODS Forty-five eyes (one eye from each glaucomatous patient) were imaged with Cirrus HD-OCT. Each eye was imaged three times by two separate operators. Intraclas...
